Our Home Health Aide (HHA) program is a separate program from CNA, held in the afternoon and evening so you can keep your day job or handle family responsibilities. It is 83 hours over 3 weeks: 75 classroom hours plus an 8-hour clinical externship supervised by a NYS Registered Nurse.

HHA graduates receive priority placement assistance through our affiliated agency, Diva Multicare Services Inc. — a licensed, bonded and insured NYS home health care agency serving Rosedale, Valley Stream and the surrounding Long Island/NYC area. (Per NYS regulations, employment cannot be guaranteed.)
Already an HHA? In-Service training
Active Home Health Aides must complete 12 hours of in-service training every 6 months (two 6-hour sessions per year) to keep their certificate active. We offer in-service in person in Lynbrook. Your certificate must be active — an expired certificate cannot be renewed with in-service hours alone. Call us for the next available date.

How long is HHA training?
The HHA program is 83 hours over about 3 weeks: 75 classroom hours plus an 8-hour clinical externship.
What are the HHA class hours?
HHA classes meet Monday through Friday, 3:30 PM to 9:00 PM. The clinical externship is scheduled separately, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
How much does HHA training cost?
Tuition is $599. The registration fee ($59), books ($50) and uniform ($25) are sold separately. A payment plan is available with a down payment and weekly payments.
Are HHA classes offered online?
No. HHA classes are in person only at our Lynbrook, NY campus.
Do you offer HHA in-service training?
Yes, for active certificates only. HHAs need 12 hours every 6 months. Expired certificates cannot be renewed with in-service hours alone.
